Taste Buddz made its debut on June 16, 1996, in an area of southern Prince George’s County, Maryland, which lacked Jamaican and African cuisine options at the time. Our family recognized the need to provide these culinary choices to our community, prompting us to ponder the essence of ‘community.’ To us, it signifies ‘shared attributes among its people and the strength of their connections.’ This realization defined our mission: not only to introduce two distinct cultures and their delightful cuisines but also to integrate with the local community by offering job opportunities, supporting local agriculture, fostering a family-friendly work and consumer environment, and patronizing local businesses.
